HISTORY

After travelling the world and gaining valuable teaching skills Sarah Habass, the founder of Sarah's Language School, has created a unique, fun and educational way to teach languages. As seen through-out different countries in the world, languages are the links to discovery, knowledge and building bridges.

METHODS

During her career, Sarah has been developing her own methods and teaching material. However, the special work of her team toward their lesson plans remains one of the best qualities of SLS. We are always looking for the best teachers and are proud of them.

SLS has got projects in Africa!

In the village of "Sougoule" in Guinea (west Africa), remain 300 habitants that live 50 km from the nearest hospital and only have use of an old house as their school. Within the village, there are young people that have been trained to teach and nurse, but they need the places and material to do so. That is where SLS is comes in. In order to have a first aid medical centre as well as a school, SLS has negotiated to use houses that are no longer needed. The goal of this mission would be to revamp the houses and bring over new materials in order to allow people from the village to benefit from the school and medical centre.

By the summer of 2010, a team of teachers and students will leave London for a month to bring new materials and to revamp the medical centre and the school.

Every year, SLS will organise trips for teachers who wish to go to Sougoule to teach French or English voluntarily.
